... so this year we did, we were in Lourdes. A beautiful place, where faith and hope are never lacking, and every day thousands of people visit this enchanting place.
DEPARTURE
It all started with deciding how to get ... by train? Plane? Package tour? No, nothing like that in the end we decided for the camper. Hire a camper, large enough, a six bed: comfortable comfortable.
Several hours spent at the computer to define the route, the choice of campsites, places to stay ... prohibited wait!
Preparations in full swing, you load the bikes, Alice office supplies, various bags with clothing and even something for two to three days at sea! Mom is busy at home, while Pierce patrols his way up the RV and it seems happily satisfied: he has understood that to be a bit 'days of her house!
THE FIRST STEP - GENOA We arrived in Genoa to eleven. Parked the camper at the camp Villa Doria, we had lunch and then we went on foot to the sea to take the boat-bus that took us directly to the old port, to visit the aquarium.
We have always heard so enthusiastic about a bit 'all and will be for this reason that we were expecting something amazing.
The children certainly enjoyed the two of us but we were a little 'disappointed. Although everything has been fun to see the piranhas, sharks, dolphins and many other fish. THE SECOND STAGE - Grau du Roi, Camargue Camargue
, you know, the land of horses and the second stage over 400 km brings us to Grau du Roi.
ritch After several miles on the freeway we get to the destination by an alternative route and so here's our break ... The camp is very great, friendly, clean and a nice playground for children. There are also two pools, one outdoor and one not, but this camp is only a short break, in fact the next morning we start now to get it right.
The camp is really small, 19-20 pitches, not more, with a family, but it is kept very well: a beautiful lawn, plants that make a nice shadow and bathrooms are in under ... adequate say.
The greatest surprise was to know Matt and Chloe, two English boys, traveling with their VW van by 74, which would leave them for a few days for Italy. The result was a friendship, thanks to our media, so that (I anticipate), I've hosted in my house in a weekend in July, making him visit my province (but I will talk about in another post).
This small town is obviously magic, visitors, tourists, the faithful everywhere, from all over the world for a pilgrimage to the cave.
